Fall Fashion Trends
It can be a little hard to imagine but in just another few short weeks the air will start to crisp and the days will shorten...signaling the arrival of my favorite season. Boots, sweaters, foliage, pumpkins...I adore autumn and everything that comes with it! The change of seasons also brings the change of fashions so I am more than happy to give you a sneak peak into what should be trending heavy this upcoming fall!
Lace, lace, and more lace - I love the look of feminie lace paired with rugged leather leggings and spiked boots. But even if you are into the more demure look, this trend work in any color. This will work in a demure blush colored knee length dress as well as it will work in a black short. But please note, don't mix your laces...you can always overdo a good thing!
Graphic sweaters - think random images on cashmere. There is no real rhyme or reason to this trend and most likely you might have a sweater tucked away from the early '90's that will work but I love the look of this drummer sweater. It's decently priced for around $80 but I was just at Forever 21 and for $25 you can find a variety of options for any budget.
Bomber jackets - I absolutely adore bomber jackets and is it me or does anyone else feel like this trend never died? I have always had bombers, granted they have gotten smaller as the years have gone on but they have always been a trend I adore. I just adore this one by Alexander McQueen but I don't feel the same way about the price tag...I have one similar from Target ;)
White - I love the look of a white outfit. And its NOT true what they say, you CAN wear white after labor day...I created this look on Polyvore...what do you think? It mixes feminine and a little rugged. I cant be too girly!
Iron lady - OK so I am not entirely sure how much of this trend I will be rocking but it is all over the runways and secretly I really like it...imagine me dressed just like this going to dinner with my hubby rockin' a full sleeve tattoo wearing his basketball shorts and Jordan flip-flops? HA!
Modern military - and last but not least, one of my favorite looks! I just love this 'trend' and have seen jackets VERY similar to this at my local Burlington Coat Factory...
I know I haven't listed all the hot trends for the upcoming season but these are the ones I really like and will be wearing! What about you?
