Heart strings...
Sorry I have been MIA - so much stuff going on! Anywhoo...so I am a sap and a mush for many things...there are so many things that pull at my heart strings or that fill me up with joy and light. I want to share with you a few things that I've experienced over the last few weeks that have brought me to tears, filled my heart with love, and just brightened my day.
Baby Ricky An old friend of mine has a son, Ricky, who's a little over 2 years old now but was diagnosed with Infant Leukemia when he was just 9 months old. Ricky spent months upon months in the hospital, spent his first birthday at Children's Hospital Boston and has shown everyone around him what its like to be a true fighter. The sweetest little boy you will ever meet and he has the strongest set of parents I have ever known. I have prayed countless nights along with countless other people but I am so happy to say that Ricky's last chemo treatment will be on March 20th...God bless this little angel on earth!
Canine Commandments One of my major addictions is Pinterest and upon my insane pin pin pin pinning pin pin pin I came across this amazing picture of the 'Canine 10 Commandments'. It brought me to tears and led to me kissing and hugging the pups. With the new baby and the busy life sometimes we forget that the pups just want love.
Old Friends I recently turned 30. A pretty big milestone and I can honestly say it was one of the best birthday's ever. The hubby did amazing and really made me feel like I was his everything. I also got to celebrate with my closest girlfriends and sister (inlaw) - some booze and nachos and it was a great night! But one of the best presents I could have asked for was reconnecting with old friends. Friends whom I consider to be family, people who really know me - the inner me that only a few really know. It's been fun catching back up and more fun planning the future... Sometimes life gets in the way. Silly things seem more important but true friends (the family you actually have a choice in) will always be there for you no matter what. Love you lots KG & TG!
And as always - my loves...my hubby, my girls, and my son. The joys of my life...I may not be the best at showing you all how much I love you but you are my world! Always and forever grateful to God for you all!
