Finally

So the time has finally come. Finals are over and everything is ready for baby. I can finally relax and breathe and spend time doing what I really love - writing. So expect a lot more posts from me in the upcoming months. I am on leave from school until January. That's a long time but it's a break I needed and I know I will be enjoying spending the extra time with my little one!

Speaking of - he is still cooking in there. I'm full term  now at 38 weeks and he isn't ready yet. My friend recently told me that I should 'tell him' to come and let go. Am I holding on? I mean this is my first child (from my womb) and I am dying to meet him but am I subconsciously petrified of his arrival? I think the answer is yes. I have been a step mom for the past 3.5 years and I have loved the learning experience that has come with it. I also have adored the unconditional love you get back from little faces and hearts. Don't get me wrong - there has been a fair share of ups and downs that have taught me countless lessons. I just cant wait to see what it actually feels like to have a child of my own. I love my little bean so much already and he makes me smile every time he wiggles in my belly.
